Good Evening from camp!
Today, is the first day of camp! Let the fun begin!
16 Horse Campers arrived with horses in tow for a week of Horse Camp.
Rainy Day, who has been with us for over 40 years, has arrived to lead our campers into a week of fun and horsemanship along with our 3 Horse activity staff.
This afternoon, our campers got in a swim, tacked and rode their horses and ate birthday cake! As you know, this is our 85th year in operation and 50th year here in Marlborough!
This past weekend, we hosted 200 Teens for our Teen Counselor Training. Our Teens came together and learned skills in leadership, how to talk to parents, team building, conflict resolution, how to work with homesick campers and plan weekly dress ups and specials. We also did a camp wide community service project to get camp ready for the season.
As we sang 3 cheers to our counselors, assorted staff, the counselors sang 3 cheers to the staff, which, as always, makes us feel great to know we are giving back to the counselors and the camp.
It’s the first day of summer, the longest day of the year and the first day of camp. What a way to start the season!
